"Love me" created on 27th November 2007

As I was thinking about "stuff", suddenly I was inspired to write and started humming which led to actually singing what I was writing at the same time to a tune. Very rare that I was actually able to put a tune to the whole thing. Interesting experience and very spiritually fulfilling.

Unfortunately, I can't really tell you at which pitch/note that I had sung with as I am totally unfamiliar with it, but was pretty mellow and slow like a ballad. Would love this to be made into a song by someone eventually. :) Maybe.

I am thankful ....

for all the things that went wrong in my life
for all the things that went RIGHT in my life
for all the friendships that I have gained
for all the opportunities that comes into my life

I am thankful ....

for the beautiful people in my life who are ever so supportive and caring
for the people that set me on the right path
for all the wisdom I have gained from people and experiences

I am thankful ....

for having a job
for having the opportunity to do what my heart desires
for the money that I could make from my efforts
for the co-workers that keeps my day bright
for the people who bring life to my boring or mundane days
for the experiences and wisdom I could gain to improve myself

I am thankful ....

for the people who help put a smile on my face on a blue blue day
for the shoulders lent for when I cry my heart out
for the hands that wipe my tears away
for the hearts that touch my heart

for the ears that listened ever so patiently and attentively
for the eyes that could see the beauty in me and everything else in the world
for the footprints that people have left in my heart and soul
for the people who care enough to walk alongside with me
for all the support in every form that were offered to me

... that care about me
... for the love they have showered me with from their hearts of hearts
... for their encouragement and kindness
... who have stood by me through everything and not gave up on me.
