You came into my life
at my darkest moments
you embraced my existence
into finding who I really am

Your existence....
encouraged me to open my heart
taught me how to love and trust again
gave me strength to find the strength within myself
to grow into the being I am meant to be

Fairy tales do come to an end
realities flow in to shake my world
on every grid of my essence
where do I go from here?
what's next to unfold?

Your smile, your laughter, your wit
all the joy you brought to my life
overshadows the darkness within
illuminating the essence of love and compassion
reeling in the power of understanding and forgiveness
hope, wisdom and courage

Tears of joy, tears of sadness
beautiful memories to have and to hold
loving you, loving myself, loving others
sharing our lives together
creating unique stories in each of our lives

Life is to be lived
to the realms of nirvana
embracing all the impossibilities
making them all possibilities
in one form or another

Illusions and realities
a mind challenging maze
the path to light
is never straight
for if it is
it'll never be real
or a well lived life.

Things happen
for their own reasons
at the given moment
and for a given moment

A well lived life
is full of learning
the learning never stops
for it signifies eternal growth
and gaining the knowledge
and knowing the right tools
and how to use them
for our highest good
that work for our own being
that brings us closer and closer
and reach the state of nirvana.
