Poems from the past (1999 - 2002)

These poems were written back in 1999 by myself while I was doing some soul searching within myself when I was going through my valleys and peaks to center myself, cleanse my soul and find myself. I found it a good way for me to release my emotions which had helped me tremendously to center myself when need be.

Life

Though things are different now

But deep down inside,

I would like you to know

That I will be there for you

When you are in need,

I will be your supporting pillar

For I will still love you

For the rest of my life.

Remember that life

Is always full of struggles

That we have to face

So that we will grow stronger within

To face the challenges

That are bound to surface in our life.

Face it with dignity and pride

Be strong and know that

You will succeed in time to come.

Be grateful with what you have

And cherish them while you still can,

Be happy with all your accomplishments in life

For that is what you reap with every effort you have put in

Give a pat on your back and say "well done".

You are never alone

Let's look forward to the future we hold

Have faith and life goes on.

Love is .....

Love is strange

Love has miracles

Love is what everyone needs

My love for you is so real

That no one would ever know

Not even you except me myself.

You make my world go round

You were so calm about everything

The confidence and charm that you developed

Has drawn me nearer to you.

You put smiles to my face, heart and soul

Life is full of wonders

That no one person could predict

Not even the loveliest or smartest person in this world.

Letting go is not easy

Fighting against one's heart is a disaster altogether.

Life is full of ups and downs

That helps mould people's life

Never be afraid of failures

As it will make you stronger and wiser.

Open up your heart and soul

To feel the wonders of love

That is all around you

Take some time to look deep inside yourself

You may find miracles.

For you are the love of my life

Now and forever it shall be

Till we part on this earth

And rejoice in the hands of GOD

In heaven.

Being with you

I feel joy and happiness

Once in a while

We may stumble upon some sorrows

And challenges in our life

Never fear

You can do it!

The world is our teacher

To teach us the lessons we need

Embrace them and face it with courage

For it makes us stronger inside

That's the way HE is looking after you

That's the way life is.

Us

Though we've known each other for so long

Life is still a mystery to uncover

There are still so many things

To learn about each other, others and the world

Which make life ever so painful and interesting

At the same time

It's easy to take things and people

For granted in life

And it takes only seconds

To destroy what we cherish most in our life

That we never realise it till it is gone or destroyed

So look deep within yourself

Cherish every moment you have

For it could just

Be your last!

Hope

Hearing your voice

Is ever so comforting

Knowing what's happening in your life is ever so interesting and amusing

Though sometimes there may be doubts on what you say or confess

But that's never an important issue

Is it?

When will we ever trust again I wonder

Or we might never will

Staying connected is always good for the soul and

To find forgiveness in our life

May we stay connected

And keep in touch

Knowing that we care and love

Each other everyday

Hurt

What have I done to you

for you to have that cruel intention

For I've been good to you

treated you with respect and

this is what I receive in return?

Hearing that few words coming from you

Is ever so painful to hear

The hurt that you've caused

will change my view of you FOREVER!

All this while I thought you were my "friend"

Instead you were actually in disguise

You are such a hipocrit

I pity you having to live a life of hipocracy

The burden you carryin your heart is ever so devastating

I forgive you for what you have said and hurt me

For that's the only way I'll ever go on with my life with peace and harmony

May you look deep into your true self worth

than being such a hipocrit

And lose all your sincere heart felt and caring abilities

May God have mercy on you and

may HE bless you from head to toe.

Though.....

Though deep down inside

I know you are never coming back to me

Not even consider at all of doing that

I'm afraid that I'm losing you

Though that's pretty disheartening

But I know that was probably meant to happen

To make us grow in person

Be stronger, wiser and to find our self worth again

To treat ourselves with respect and to love ourselves again

May this be our turning point in our life

for a brighter, cheerful and prosperous life and

to find true love again

But I would hope

Though things didn't work out

As how we would like it to be

that you would never forget your friends

No matter what

For they are the roots of your life

Strange

We seem to be so connected

even when it was the first time we met

You were there for me

When I needed comfort

You were able to put smiles on my face

when I was feeling blue

You manage to tickle

My funny bone when I needed a laugh

You were so ever caring and understanding

You are such a unique person

That I would never want to lose for this world

As you are so ever special to me

Though we have never met in person

the cares that you have provided

no words could ever describe it

It was real I know

But I am sure

We'll meet one day

Till that day comes

I wish you well my friend
