Reflections from a Movie Marathon
First movie I watched was LOVE HAPPENS.
This movie is definitely one that I quite like for its story line. A slight tear jerking movie for the "sensitive" hearts.
I like the fact that this movie covers quite a few elements of a relationship - individual or partnership. Viewers would most definitely have something they can relate to and/or reflect from the situations portrayed in this movie.
Not every situation ends in a 'happy forever after" fairy tale. It is a mix bag with a good balance of reality in people's lives.
One thing definitely is true - both genders do go through the same 'roller coaster' rides at some point of their lives. The humanly instincts to connect and fight for what they each want for their lives and what is true and authentic for their lives when they decide to do so.
There will come a point in time in our lives that one or few 'special angel/s' in our lives will come into our lives and shake our world till kingdom come that awake us to be true to ourselves and our needs.
My second movie was BOLT.
Another interesting yet funny animation. This portrays a dog that had been blinded by a "made-up" world that he had lost his identity as a real dog. He wasn't awaken to the truth till he was accidentally shipped away and met a cat along the way that woke him up to the real truth of his "world".
There are some of us if not many out there in this world that are like that dog in the animation. We live in the world that was "made up" for us by family, culture and society where we believed to be true of our world and what made us who we are supposed to be. Until we put ourselves in what is REAL of our REAL world that make us who we are and what we are supposed to be authentically and not "expected" by popular belief; we are not TRUE to our BEING. Our AUTHENTIC being.
How TRUE are you to yourself and your needs?
How LOST are you of yourself and your needs?
WHAT is your AUTHENTIC being?
What makes your AUTHENTIC WORLD that is TRUE to your being?
