Judgements

An interestingtopic posted by my friend on her blog about judgements. A good thought provoking topic.

She  wrote:
Sometimes without actually aware of it, we need to do endless judgement in our daily life, judging the enormous information flooding into ourselves, and sometimes the decision made from the judgement might affect others including / excluding ourselves, directly / indirectly, regardless if we need to take the responsibility.
And the work I am learning now is, to decide and judge from the opinions collected from multiple person. Realised that it isn't an easy task than I expected. Much complicated to decide and say, 'A is fine and B isn't fine.' as everyone has arguable point with the choice they made.
I need to learn how to look into the contradiction of the different ideas, integrate them into the best conclusion which satisfies everyone. To be able to do this, I have to learn to think on others' shoes, and get out of the shoes, walk in the crowd, and view them in a broader view.

My thoughts:
Interesting topic! :) Whether we like it or not, we are judging people around us all the time. The issue is how judgemental are we of others and ourselves? Are we being fair in our judgements? Have we done all the necessary groundwork before passing any critical judgements? Are we being hypocrites? Needless to say, it is always crucial to "try" to think from the other person's perspective, walk in the other person's shoes, be open to the fact that we sometimes may be wrong with our judgements/beliefs that we so eagerly impose on others and of course there will be the times we are spot on with things. BRAVO! There will be the times that these judgements will affect others and even ourselves - mentally & emotionally. And there will be the times such actions are unavoidable.
