Acceptance of Being

One's past which is "colorful/depressing" - whatever it may be - does not necessary represent who they are now. Most people change through time and life experiences - they evolve and grow. And of course there are the ones that don't and remain stuck in an infinite "illusionary cycle" till they decide to get real and leap out of the negative cycle.
Permanent change can only exist within the individual when he/she decides to do so without resenting making the change and reap the joy from the change wholeheartedly instead which can only lead to peace and harmony in his/her heart.
Accepting someone for who they are is to accept the good and the bad; the past and the present; and the future they wish to have. Why do most of us let the past be the shadow of the present? For any relationship to work; be it personal or professional - we have to accept the people for who they are now and in the past. Accept the unique being they are. For every difference is an opportunity to learn new wisdom for personal growth.
Are you embracing the differences between yourself and other people?
Do you feel the need to change people to fit your unrealistic expectations of them that is untrue to their being?
